1. Tools.

List of tools necessary for making sourdough bread:

• Flour
• Water
• Sourdough starter
• Salt
• Silicon spatula (can be done by hand)
• Mixing bowl (any bowl will work: glass, metal or plastic)
• Kitchen towel
• Spray bottle (optional, you can use your hands to splatter water on the board)
• Proofing basket (can be easily replaced by Pyrex dish or any small bowl)
• Scale 
• Dough scraper 
• Scoring lame (razor blade or sharp knife will work just fine)
• Dutch oven (enamel, cast iron, pizza stone or aluminum baking dish will also work)
